To become a part of the StyleQ family, simply complete the online application form here. Once submitted, our team will review your qualifications, and you will receive a confirmation email regarding the next steps, including a potential live demo interview and onboarding process.
To join, you must:
- Be a licensed professional.
- Have professional liability insurance.
- Provide your own mobile tools
- Complete a background check as part of the onboarding process.
We currently offer a variety of services including haircuts, styling, grooming, nail care, and more. As a stylist, you can choose which services you want to offer, based on your expertise and certification.
Stylists are paid bi-weekly.
There is no upfront fee to join. However, there are costs associated with the background check ($30 one-time fee) and business insurance (approx. less than $10 a month which every freelancing professional should already have). We also charge a monthly fee to list on StyleQ with a unique booking profile. This is optional and the fee helps us maintain the platform, provide customer support, and market your services to new clients.
Yes! We encourage stylists to refer other professionals. For every successful referral, you may receive a bonus as part of our referral program.
